When you work at a desk for a majority of the day it is important to watch what you are eating and plan. Here are some tips for how you can keep your eating on track:

Meal Prep Containers:

There are so many affordable reusable meal prep containers that are easy on your wallet and better for the environment than take out or prepackaged meals. Here are some Amazon Prime friendly options:

Meal Prep Recipes:

Pinterest is a great asset when it comes to finding recipes. There are endless options, so you’ll never get bored. Here are a few links to get you started:

Don’t waste your leftovers, take them for lunch! Also, making extra for lunch is an easy way to meal prep.

Guilt Free Snacking:

There are so many options out there that are not chips & cookies. You can also look on Pinterest for snacking ideas. I love making roasted chick peas or having peanut butter & celery sticks!

Low-Calorie Drinks:

We run on black coffee & La Croix in the office. These are great because they don’t have sugar and hidden calories. They also don’t have all of the chemicals that you find in diet sodas.

Treat Yourself:

It’s totally okay to treat yourself every once in a while. Reward yourself for taking the time to prep your meals by going out every couple of weeks.

Find a plan that works with you and your schedule. You don’t need to try to be someone else just try things and see what works. Planning can make a huge difference in how it works for you.
