How To: Revamp Your Social Media Profiles

2018 is coming to an end so now is a great time to give your social media profiles a fresh new look. New year new you. We curated some of the best tips so that you can efficiently update your profiles without having to think too hard.

1) Make sure you are using the right sized images on your profiles so that you look professional. Here are the sizes so you don’t have to guess!

Facebook profile picture: 170 X 170 pixels
Facebook cover photo: 828 X 465 pixels
Twitter profile photo: 400 X 400 pixels
Twitter header image: 1,500 X 500 pixels
Google+ profile picture: 250 X 250 pixels (minimum)
Google+ cover photo: 1080 X 608 pixels
LinkedIn profile photo: 400 X 400 pixels (minimum)
LinkedIn custom background: 1584 X 396
LinkedIn cover photo: 974 X 330 pixels
LinkedIn banner image: 646 X 220 pixels
Instagram profile picture: 110 X 110 pixels
Pinterest profile picture: 150 X 150 pixels
YouTube profile picture: 800 X 800 pixels

2) Make sure your profiles are consistent across all platforms. By changing things so that they all coordinate/match to improve recognition from your clients.

3)Use link https://linktr.ee in your Instagram bio. This allows you to have multiple links in your bio at once so that you don’t have to keep changing them. It also gives you a more polished look.

4)Don’t use social medias that you are not active on. Delete your account if you are on a social media that you do not use or update regularly. This will make you look more appealing and engaged to your clients.

5)Create new graphics and headers for different times of the year. Now is a great time to have a holiday themed profile and seem relevant to your audience.
